Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) proudly announces the successful culmination of its Gemstone Cutting and Faceting Workshops Workshops at its Skardu Campus. The ceremony was graced by Raja Nasir Ali Khan, Minister of Planning and Development, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Ms. Aneela Mehdi-Assistant Commissioner, Skardu, along with local government representatives, visited the display and was amazed by the student’s work and appreciated them.
The 3-week Advanced and 2-week Basic Lapidary Workshop witnessed remarkable participation from local students, showcasing outstanding talent and creativity. The certificate distribution ceremony and lapidary display highlighted the immense potential of the region's youth. PIFD's commitment to empowering communities through education and skill development is reflected in the workshop's success.
