Mr.Arif Zaman, a Senior Lecturer, Bloomsbury Institute and Director, Commonwealth Businesswomen’s Network (CBWN), visited Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) on January 26, 2024.
Prof.Hina Tayyaba Khalil, Vice Chancellor PIFD, along with Director ORIC, Director Center for Internationalization and senior faculty members were present at the occasion. A presentation on PIFD was given and discussions on opportunities for future collaborations were done.
Mr. Arif Zaman has served as a Global Market and Industry Analyst at British Airways and later led the Commonwealth’s work on corporate governance as Adviser on both Corporate Governance and South Asia to the Commonwealth Business Council. His recommendations were incorporated by Commonwealth Governments in their Corporate Governance Codes.
He appreciated the artistic work of PIFD students and lauded the efforts and initiatives of PIFD in supporting entrepreneurship and promoting the work of its students through various platforms particularly through PIFD’s souvenir shop at Masjid Wazir Khan.
