Students of Semester V from the Textile Design Department of the Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design visited the Nishat Mills Ltd-Processing Unit (Dyeing and Finishing Plant) Lahore as part of an educational visit. Mr. Muhammad Kamran-Assistant Professor and Ms. Nehdia Noor-Teaching Associate accompanied the students.
During the visit, students learned about the Design Creation Department, Product Development, and export processes, as well as how to meet the demands of international customers. Furthermore, the students observed the processes of rotary screen printing and the pre-treatments and finishing of textiles.
