A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design on the eve of Independence Day. Prof. Hina Tayyaba Khalil, Vice Chancellor PIFD hoisted the Pakistani flag in the presence of faculty members, staff and students. The ceremony was followed by student digital posters competition, speeches by the students, national songs, cake cutting ceremony and tree plantation. While addressing the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor said our forefathers had given great sacrifices during the freedom movement. It is the need of the hour to follow the vision of our great leader Quaid e Azam and holistically adopt the ideology of Pakistan. She emphasized to the young generation that now they are responsible to take this great country forward and work hard to achieve the goals set by our Quaid. In the end, the chief guest distributed prizes among participants of all activities.
