Thesis Display by the final year students of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) opened at its campus in Lahore on June 16, 2023. It will continue until June 25, 2023. Thesis Display aims to showcase creative work of PIFD graduating students in the domains of Textile Design, Leather Accessories and Footwear, Furniture Design and Manufacture, Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing and Merchandising, Ceramic and Glass Design, and Gems and Jewellery Design. The entire premises of the Institute has become an exhibition space. Industrialists, academicians, students along with their parents are visiting the exhibition. Visitors on the first day walked through the gallery of each department where creative work of final year students is on display. While congratulating the students for displaying their thesis work successfully, the Vice Chancellor PIFD, Prof. Hina Tayyaba Khalil said that these students have worked very hard and I wish them best of luck in their future endeavors. It is pertinent to mention here that since its establishment PIFD has been producing graduates who are able to combine design capability with manufacturing dexterity to create products that are functional and aesthetically appealing. It also equips the students with necessary management and marketing tools to promote these products in markets around the world.
