Admission Procedure And Eligibility

Procedure
  1. Application forms / Prospects can be obtained from 2nd July, 2018 payment of Rs. 1500/- or by post against bank draft of Rs. 1700/- in favor of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design(PIFD), Lahore.
  2. Applications forms can also be downloaded from the website www.pifd.edu.pk.Candidates applying through downloaded forms will submit their applications along with the cash / proof of online payment of Rs. 1700/- in A/C # 22167900286001(HBL, Johar Town, Branch, Lahore).
  3. Last date for submission of applications will be 24th July, 2018.
  4. Entry Test (English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Drawing and Creating Skills) for candidates for all the areas of Pakistan will be held on 28th July, 2018.
  5. The candidates from Punjab will appear in PIFD Campus Lahore.
  6. The Candidates from other provinces may appear in the centers set up by TDAP offices at Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and Islamabad.
  7. Interview at PIFD, Lahore will be conducted on 2nd to 7th August, 2018 (Excluding Sunday).
  8. First Merit list of selected candidates will be displayed on notice board / PIFD Website on 09th August, 2018.
  9. Last date for submission of Fee (First Merit List): 16th August, 2018.
  10. Second Merit list of selected candidates will be displayed on notice board / PIFD Website on 17th August, 2018.
  11. Last date for submission of Fee (Second Merit List): 22nd August, 2018.
  12. Orientation will be on 27th August, 2018.
  13. Commencement of classes on 28th August, 2018.
  14. HEC need based scholarships are also available for deserving students.
Eligibility Criteria
  1. Intermediate/A-Level with 50% (550/1100) marks.
  2. A-Level with (Minimum 3 main subjects, no subsidiary) and O-Level with 8 subjects including five compulsory subjects are required.
  3. Intermediate Students awaiting results are also eligible for provisional admission. They should attach the attested copy of Part-I Result Card and Part-II Roll No. Slip of their respective Boards.
  4. A Level students awaiting results are required to submit Statement of Entry. However provisional admission, if granted will not be confirmed without Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC with 50% marks.(550/1100)
    • High School diploma holders must submit IBCC Equivalence with 50% marks.(550/1100)
    • Candidates applying on open merit or quota basis will have to appear in compulsory pre-admission AptitudeTest (Entry Test) followed by an interview.
