In continuation of the collaborative efforts between Cardiff Metropolitan University and Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, a group of 7 students and 1 faculty member from the Ceramic and Glass Design Department visited Cardiff, Whales from June 22 to July 06, 2019.
This group engaged in specialist practical training sessions at the Cardiff Metropolitan University which were meant to enhance practical skills in art and design practices through experiencing latest developments in Rapid Prototyping (3D Printing, Laser Cutting, CNC Router Software) and Advanced Ceramics (techniques and glazing). The group also visited galleries and museums in Cardiff and London which greatly aided in enhancing socializing skills and increasing cultural exposure.
